Early morning murder rocks Patiala; retired banker killed

In a bizarre incident, a man aged 67 years has been killed outside govt kothi’s on passey road, Patiala.
As per initial reports, Balbir Singh Chahal, 67 years old, retired from a nationalised bank is killed with a sharp edged knife. He is a resident of Sant Nagar locality and comes for morning walk on daily basis.
The incident has been occurred outside the boundary wall of govt kothi’s of 6-D on passey road, Patiala. On the other side of the 6-D where the incident has happened a police officer is residing.
Police and forensic teams have already reached and is investigating the gruesome incident.
