Education department issues instructions to teachers ,employees under Mission Fateh

The Punjab School Education Department has asked the school teachers and all the employees of the education department to take active part in the campaign being launched by the Punjab government to prevent the epidemic of COVID-19.
In a letter to the District Education Officers (Secondary and Elementary Education) and Principals, director SCERT Jagtar Singh Kullaria said that under the government’s ‘Mission Fateh’, officials, headmasters and teachers should play the active role in bringing the change in the attitude of the people towards corona disease.
The letter also directed to make all the citizens of the state aware of the exemptions given by the government for coming out of the lockdown and motivate them to carry out their business, office work, educational activities and other necessary activities as per the government guidelines, the spokesperson said.
Referring to the contribution already being made by the education department under ‘Mission Fateh’, the letter called for further intensification of the awareness campaign on Corona. Instructions have also been issued to make the messages issued by the Punjab Government through videos and posters to the students and their parents regarding the precautions to be taken against the infection of covid-19 and to put the logo of ‘Mission Fateh’ on the websites of the Education Department. He said that parents of school children should also be encouraged to download the cova app on their mobile phones and students should be encouraged to participate in the ‘Mission Warrior Contest’.
