Rajan Angural brother of Sheetal Angural has confirmed the news of withdrawal of brother’s his resignation. He said we had joined the saffron party with a hope that a bypoll will be announced for assembly elections along with the parliamentary elections. But that has not happened. So, why would we again contest poll at our own. So, he decided to withdraw his resignation.”

In March,  Angural had submitted his resignation to the PVS and said, “I hereby submit my resignation from membership of legislative assembly Punjab (MLA) with immediate effect.” Later Angural, along with AAP Lok Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Rinku, had joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
