Empowering Forest Department Employees: MRSPTU Hosts Computer Literacy Workshop

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), Bathinda organised a two-day workshop aimed at enhancing computer literacy among Forest Department employees.

The event, organized by the Skill Development Department and the Department of Computational Sciences, saw enthusiastic participation from over 30 employees of forest department.

The workshop concluded on Tuesday featured distinguished speakers including MRSPTU senior Dean Prof. Buta Singh Sidhu and Registrar Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh Brar, who emphasized the importance of integrating technology into forest management practices. Pawn Shiridhar, DFO of Bathinda, Gurjang Singh, Range forest Officer and Manpreet Singh, Range Forest Officer from Muktsar were also present. Dr. Ramandeep Sharma, Palvi, Veenu Rani, and Dr. Manjinder Singh provided valuable insights into leveraging computer applications for efficient task management within the department. Dr. Dinesh Kumar lauded the organizing committee for the seamless execution of the workshop.
