Er Devinder Pal Garg promoted as Chief Engineer at GHTP, Lehra Mohabbat

Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has appointed Er Devinder Pal Garg as Chief Engineer (Operation and Maintenance) at Guru Hargobind Thermal Plant (GHTP), Lehra Mohabbat in Bathinda. He took the charge on Thursday.
He replaced Er Balwant Kumar who is now appointed as Chief Engineer RE/APDRP, Patiala.
Er Devinder Pal Garg has earlier worked as deputy chief engineer (C&I) at GHTP Lehra Mohabbat for three and half years.
Devinder Pal Garg s/o Sh. Lachhman Dass was born on March 14, 1964. He has done his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical’s in June 1986 from Guru Nanak Engineering College, Ludhiana. He was 1986 batch gold medalist.
He joined erstwhile Punjab State Electricity Board (PSEB) on February 27, 1987 as AE. He had served for 29 years at Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant in Bathinda before he was appointed at GHTP Lehra Mohabbat.
Devinder Pal Garg said that his prime motive is to generate maximum power from all four units by reducing the cost of production. He ensured that he will prevent wastage of fuel and water to increase efficiency of the units.
He motivated the team of GHTP to achieve the assigned targets and assured the management that he will lead the team effectively and will strive hard to run the units optimally.
Devinder Pal Garg has assumed the charge in the presence of Er. Sarinder Kumar Bains, SE/HQ; Er. Massa Singh, Dy CE/EMC; Er. Nand Lal, SE/MM-I; Er. Rajinder Kumar Singla, SE/MM-II; Er. Kulwant Singh, SE/OP; Er. DK Garg, SE/ Civil; Er. Jiwandeep Singh Dhaliwal Dy CE/ GNDTP and Er. Girish Gupta, ASE/GNDTP.
