Expert lecture on Machine Learning organized by Punjabi university CSE department

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Punjabi University Patiala under the Research Innovation & Technology Lecture Series (RITLS) Organized an Expert Talk on “Machine Learning Demystified” for faculty, research scholars and B.Tech students.
The Lecture was delivered by Dr. Navdeep Singh a renowned technology expert in the field of AI and Machine Learning. He made the audience aware about how Machine Learning will bring revolutionary changes in our daily life in coming times? Dr. Singh, who is certified by university of Stanford & Deep Learning AI, told that primary purpose of machine learning is to discover patterns in the user data and then make predictions based on these and intricate patterns for answering business questions and solving business problems.
Dr. Raman Maini, Head of Department of Computer Science & Engineering, shared that under the dynamic leadership of honorable vice-chancellor Ravneet Kaur (IAS), the department of CSE has been organizing various extra-curricular activities for faculty and students on regular basis. He mentioned that this time a new technical education lecture series RITLS has been started. The aim of this important lecture series is to bring renowned experts for delivering useful lectures about new trending technologies. He added that we have target of organizing 15 expert talks in the current academic session. Vice Chancellor Ravneet Kaur IAS appreciated the efforts of the Department.
The event Coordinator Dr. Jasvir Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering congratulated and thanked faculty, research scholars and students for their active participation. Dr. Navdeep Kanwal, Dr. Abhinav Bhandari, Jashan were also present.
Head of the Department There will also be a Gaming Competition along with coding to improve the cognitive function and logical reasoning of the students.
