Export of PPE Kits; government releases procedure for export

Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) has released a procedure and criteria for submission and approval of applications for Export of PPE Medical Coveralls for COVID-19.
The department has restricted the export of PPE medical coveralls for COVID -19, fixing the export quota of 50 lakh PPE Medical Coverall Units, every month.
As per the guidelines issued by Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), exporter may apply online for Export of PPE Medical Coverall Unite, from 1st-3rd day of each month and the department will considered that application, for the quota of that month and department will examine the application and all approvals will be done by 10th of every month. Validity of the export licence will be for three months.
For Export of PPE Kits; government releases procedure for export and one of the main clause of the export is “ the firm, who is exporting PPE Medical Coverall units, will have to submit a Chartered Engineer’s certificate certifying that the fabrics used in the PPE medical coverall were manufactured in India”, to boost the local industry.
