Extension Lectures in Mata Sahib Kaur Girls College
Second day of N.S.S. Camp at Mata Sahib Kaur Khalsa Girls College of Education, Dhamo Majra Patiala started with a play on ‘Teacher Taught Relationship’ presented by ‘Red Arts group’. After this Dr. Gurinder Singh Attwal highlighted the importance of good health which can be maintained by simple life style and positive mindset. He also enlightened about the physiotherapy treatment of various ailments. Dr. Harmeet Kaur Anand (Principal , Mata Sahib Kaur Khalsa Girls College of Education, Dhamo Majra Patiala) inspired the students to come forward to adopt a healthy & Positive life style. She also guided the students to develop such personality traits which can help them to become a role model in their teaching profession.
In the afternoon session Dr. Arvinder Dhillon (Lecturer, Political Science, Nabha ) inspired the students to imbibe good qualities like honesty, patience & cooperation leading to became a responsible citizen & serve the society .He also stressed for the need to sensitize the younger generation through ‘Wake up Call’ to inculcate values in their life’. Gurpreet Kaur (Chairperson of NGO) interacted with students through problem solving session and tried to encourage them to face challenges of life through self confidence. She also stressed for need to develop thinking skills to face day to day life problems in every sphere of life. Dr. Naveen Sabarwal, Jugraj Singh(D.F.O) Patiala graced the occasion with their benign presence. Balihar Singh (Forest Block Officer), Manveen Kaur (Forest Guard) , faculty members and students were also present. In the end Dr. Gurwinder Kaur thanked the guests.
