Firing near CM’s function site in Patiala

As per available information two groups clashed near NIS, just few meters away from the venue of chief minister of Punjab Capt Amarinder Singh’s function and fired gun shots. As per the information two persons were injured in the gun fight, which occurred between Indian Youth Congress groups.One person got fire shot in his arm and the other got two shots at his back. Road siders said around 8-10 fires were fired in the gun battle. One of the injured youth said “we came to attend the CM function at municipal corporation Patiala office and were standing at the chowk, when Johri, Aman along with others came and fired gun shots from an unlicensed weapon, on us.”

CM Capt Amarinder Singh is in Patiala, to lay the foundation stone of various development projects in Patiala. Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Sunday digitally laid the foundation stone of Punjab’s first dedicated Sports University and a bus stand, along with various other development projects in Patiala, on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra.
