Foundation laying ceremony for the construction of Additional Service Block and Lawyers Chambers in Judicial Complex at Barnala. The Foundation laying ceremony for the construction of new Additional Service Block and Lawyers Chambers was laid by the Justice Rajan Gupta, Judge High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh, Chairman Building Committee (Punjab) and by the Justice Raj Shekhar Attri, Judge High Court of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh, Administrative Judge Sessions Division, Barnala.
The ceremony took place in the august presence Virinder Aggarwal, District & Sessions Judge, Barnala, Tej Partap Singh Phoolka, Deputy Commissioner, Barnala and Harjit Singh, S.S.P., Barnala, all the Judicial Officers posted at Barnala, the officers of the Executive Branch, Barnala, Pankaj Bansal, President Bar Association Barnala, office bearers, Barnala Bar Association along with all the members of Bar.
The Additional Service Block will spread over 8712 sq.feet area and the Lawyers Chambers will spread over the area 14698 sq.feet area. Malkhana/Record Room will spread over area of 4158 sq.feet. Car parking between Judicial Building and Lawyers Chamber will spread over 18724 sq.feet area.
The Additional Service Block will consists Space for litigants, typists and stamp vendors, four shops, connecting corridor entrance, judicial service center, bank, post office, canteen for public, canteen for lawyers, ladies lawyers, bar room, library. The Lawyers Chambers will accommodate about 304 lawyers.
The Additional Service Block will contain all the judicial record properly having sufficient space and latest facilities and the safety measurements to avoid any destruction and the Lawyers Chambers will be connected with the Judicial Complex to facilitate the lawyers and litigants to approach each and every court on every floor.
