Free Medical Check up camp organized by Punjabi University health department

Under the resilient leadership of the Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala,Dr Jagdeep Singh , a free Medical Check up Camp was organised in the Bhai Ghaniya Health Centre, Punjabi University, Patiala on 19 th Sept,2025.
The Camp was organised in collaboration with Krsnaa Labs (Mata Kaushalya Hospital, Patiala) in which Hb, FBS, Blood Cholesterol and S. Uric acid tests were done free of cost.
The other tests were done at Punjab Govt. approved rates.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Jaswinder Singh Brar, Dean Academic Affairs.
Dr Devinder Pal Singh Sidhu , Registrar graced the occasion.
The Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala appreciated the efforts made by the SMO , Dr Regina Maini and the staff of the Health Centre in organising the camp.
Dr Regina Maini, Senior Medical officer said that the camp was organised to commemorate the Death anniversary of Bhai Ghaniya ji as Manav Seva Sankalp Diwas.
She said approx 300 persons including the employees, faculty members and their families and the students got their tests done today.
The camp was attended by Dr Balraj Saini , Dean CDC, Dr Raman Maini, Director MMTTC- HRDC, Dr Parmod Agarwal, Finance Officer, Dr Bhim Inder Singh, Director, Youth welfare, Dr Damanjit Sandhu, Dean International affairs, Dr Jatinder Pal Singh Sidhu , OSD to VC , Capt Gurtej Singh, Chief Security Officer and various officials of the University .
Dr Regina Maini thanked the Vice Chancellor Punjabi University Patiala,Dr Jagdeep Singh for always encouraging and supporting her.
She thanked Dr Jaswinder Singh Brar, Dean Academic Affairs ,Dr Devinder Pal Singh Sidhu, Registrar, Dr Parmod Agarwal, Finance Officer and Dr Raman Maini, Director MMTTC- HRDC for their support .
She thanked the staff of the Health Centre for working day and night giving the uninterrupted health services to the Punjabi University family
