Full dress rehearsal of Republic Day function held at Nehru Stadium, Rupnagar

A full dress rehearsal of district level Republic Day function was held at Nehru Stadium Rupnagar on January 24,2026 during which the national flag was unfurled by Deputy Commissioner Aaditya Dachalwal .
Deputy Commissioner Aditya Dachalwal and SSP Maninder Singh inspected the parade.On this occasion, various contingents under the leadership of DSP Jatinder Chauhan took out a march past ,In which Punjab Police Men, Punjab Police Women, Punjab Home Guards, Government College NCC Cadets, different schools and band groups participated .
After this, students of different schools presented colorful programs like PT show, choreography, dance and Giddha. Finally, the staff of Shivalik School presented the national anthem.
The Deputy Commissioner said that on the occasion of Republic Day on January 26, Minister for Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Labour, Hospitality and Rural Development and Panchayats. Tarunpreet Singh Saund will unfurl the national flag.
After this Aaditya Dachalwal and SSP Maninder Singh held a meeting with the officers of various departments. He said that all the officers and employees will perform their duties with full dedication.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Avikesh Gupta, Additional Deputy Commissioner (D) Chandrajyoti Singh, Chief Minister Field Officer Abhimanyu Malik, SP Arvind Meena, SP Gurdeep Singh Gosal, SP Jaspreet Singh, Assistant Commissioner Arvinderpal Singh Somal, SDM Rupnagar Baljinder Singh Dhillon, District Public Relations Officer Karan Mehta, District Revenue Officer Badaldin besides other officers and employees were present.
