The Five Year Integrated Program (FYIP) Department of Mathematical and Computational Sciences at Punjabi University, Patiala, orchestrated a vibrant excursion to Kasauli on April 17, 2024, accompanied by enthusiastic students, faculty members, and research scholars.
Among those leading the expedition were Dr. Shalini, Dr. Rupali, and research fellows Sukchain, Rizwan, and Rishabh. This exhilarating journey unfolded with a delightful breakfast stop at Modern Dhaba, Dharampur, setting the stage for an unforgettable day of exploration and camaraderie.
The group’s adventure in Kasauli commenced with a trek to Manki Point and Hanuman Mandir, nestled within the picturesque environs of the Air Force base. The trek not only provided breathtaking views but also instilled a sense of adventure and unity among the participants.
Following the trek, the entourage ventured into the heart of Kasauli, immersing themselves in the rich heritage and vibrant atmosphere of the heritage market. A visit to the historic church added a touch of reverence to the journey, offering a glimpse into the town’s storied past.
As the day drew to a close, the group gathered at Sunset Point, where they were treated to a mesmerizing display of nature’s beauty. The serene ambiance provided the perfect backdrop for introspection and reflection, fostering bonds that would last a lifetime.
However, the excitement didn’t end there. On the journey back, students and faculty alike indulged in spontaneous dance sessions aboard the bus, further enhancing the sense of camaraderie and joy.
