GNDU Inter-College Athletics (M&W) Meet 2018-2019 organized

Guru Nanak Dev University organized its 49th Inter-College Athletics (M&W) Meet 2018-2019 at University Athletics Grounds, GNDU Campus. More than 500 athletes of about 60 different colleges affiliated to this university participated in this mega championship.
Sunita Rani, Padmashree and Arjuna Awardee (Athletics) was the Chief Guest of day. She awarded the medals to the position holders of the events in the final day of the function. The championship was organized with a grand success. Dr. Sukhdev Singh, Director Sports and Dr. Kanwar Mandeep Singh, Assistant Director Sports was also present.
As per the final result of Athletics (Men) meet, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar was Overall Champion, Khalsa College, Amritsar was Overall Runners-up, DAV College, Jalandhar was Overall third and SSM College, Dinangar was Overall fourth.
In the Athletics (Women) result, HMV College, Jalandhar was Overall Champion followed by Khasla College for Women, Amritsar Overall Runners-up, Khalsa College, Amritsar Overall Third and GN Khalsa College Daroli Kalan was Overall fourth.
