GNDU Teacher’s Association Election on December 4

Guru Nanak Dev University Teacher’s Association Election for the year 2018-19 will be held on Decemeber 4, 2018. Dr. Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi, Prof. Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences has been nominated as Returning Officer.
Prof. Kamaljit Singh, Dean Academic Affairs said that Dr. Sandeep Dua, Professor, Department of Architecture will conduct the election at Jalandhar. Similarly, Dr. K.S. Chahal from Department of Architecture will conduct the election at Gurdaspur and Dr. Palwinder Singh, Prof. Department of Chemistry will be responsible to conduct election at ASSM College, Mukandpur.
He said that the voters from GNDU Regional Campus Sathiala, GNDU College, Verka, Chung & Patti will cast their vote at Guru Nanak Dev University main campus, Amritsar. The voters from GNDU College, Niari, Sujanpur and Narote Jaimal Singh will cast their vote at GNDU Regional Campus, Gurdaspur and voters from GNDU Regional Campus Fattu Dhingha (Sultanpur Lodhi), GNDU College, Jalandhar and Babe Nanaki College, Mithra will cast their vote at GNDU Regional Campus, Ladhewali, Jalandhar, he added.
For the election of President Dr. Davinder Singh from Department of Psychology and Dr. Sukhprit Singh Department of Chemistry are contesting and for election of Vice President
Dr. Adarsh Pal Vij, Department of Botanical & Environmental Sciences and Dr. Nareshpal Singh Saini, Department of Physics are in the field. Similarly for post of Secretary, Dr. Balwinder Singh and Dr. Lakhwinder Singh both from University School of Financial Studies are contesting, likewise Dr. Amandeep Singh, Department of Physical Education are contesting for Joint Secretary and Dr. Anupinder Singh, Department of Physics are contesting for Joint Secretary. For the election of Treasurer, Dr. Gagandeep Gahlay, Department of Molecular Biology & Biochemistry and Dr. Jatinder Kumar, Department of Mathematics are contesting.
