GNDU teaching faculty got administrative responsibilities

Newly joined Dean, Academic Affairs, Prof. Hardeep Singh & Dean, Students Welfare, Prof. Anish Dua of Guru Nanak Dev University committed to work hard with team spirit to more improve the working of this reputed University as we all are passing through the difficult phase due to Covid situation with the able stewardship of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu.
Both Deans has taken over their charges recently in the presence of senior officers of the University. Prof. Sarbjot Singh Behl, Professor, Department of Architecture and former Dean Academic Affairs has also joined O.S.D., Vice-Chancellor’s Office of the University.
Meanwhile, other appointments were also made by the University such as Prof. Manoj Kumar as Professor Incharge Examinations, DR. Mohan Kumar as Deputy Director UGC Human Resource Development Centre and Dr. Anish Kumar Dua joined as Director Capacity Enhancement Programme, Prof. Bikramjeet Singh Bajwa as Dean Alumni Association, Prof.Jyoteesh Malhotra as Associate Dean AA & SW, Regional Campus Jalandhar, Prof. D. Sandeep Sood Associate Dean AA & SW Regional Campus Gurdaspur, Prof. Saroj Bala as Director, Deptt. of Life- Long Learing, Prof. Narpinder Singh, Deptt. Food Science and technology as Director Research, Prof. Swapandeep Singh Chimni, Department of Chemistry, Prof. Incharge Public Relations, Prof. Preet Mohinder Singh Bedi, Department of Pharmaceutical Science, Co- Oridinator, University Industry Linkage Programme and Nodal Officer ( IPRs Cell), Prof. Manoj Kumar, Department of Chemistry, Professor Incharge (Examinations), Prof. Karanjit Singh Kahlon, Department of Computer Science as Professor Incharge(CTTGS), Prof. Sudha Jatinder, Department of Hindi, as Professor Incharge, Heritage Museum, Prof. Palwinder Singh, Department of Chemistry, as Co-ordinator, HPLC Mass Spectrometer, NMR(Central Facility), Prof. Sandeep Singh Sharma, Department of Comp[uter Engineering & technolgy, as Chief Information Security Officer,Indian Computer Emergency Pesponse Team( CERT-in), Prof. renu Bhardwaj, Department of Botanical & Environmental Science, as Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell.
