GNDU’s Apparel and Textile Technology organized logo design contest

The logo design contest was organized by Department of Apparel and Textile Technology (DATT) of Guru Nanak Dev University. Undergraduates and postgraduate students of various universities and colleges across Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana and UP participated in the logo design contest.
Prof. Sukhprit Singh, Head of the Department said that the main objective of the logo design contest was to motivate the innovative and creative young minds and translate their creative ideas into positive thoughts with imagination into logo design. The competition between the participants was intense and high-quality logos for the Department of Apparel and Textile Technology were designed by participants.
GNDU’s Apparel and Textile Technology organized logo design contest. Dr. Sachin Kumar, Assistant Professor said that Karan Singh, student of BCA 4th Semester from GNDU College Phillaur secured the first position in the logo design contest. Divyansh Babbar, student of World University of Design, Sonipat, Haryana secured the second position. Ekta Gupta, Post graduate student of Government Home Science College, Sector-10, Chandigarh secured the third position. Daljeet kaur student of Fashion Design from Guru Angad Dev College, Khadur Sahib and Ramneek Kaur student of Fashion Design from RR Bawa DAV Girls College Batala got a consolation prize. This Logo would be featured on the Department of Apparel and Textile Technology website and other mediums viz. stationary, pamphlets and T-shirts. He also gave details about B.Tech (Textile Processing Technology) and M.Sc. (Apparel and Textiles) courses being run by the department of the University .
