GNF Patiala virtually celebrated Baisakhi

The students Guru Nanak Foundation Public School, Patiala celebrated Baisakhi on 13 April,2021 with full fervour through online classes.The day started by seeking blessings of the *Almighty*.
The teachers made the students aware about the *Khalsa Sajna Diwas* ,its historical background and cultural heritage of the Punjab.
The students were apprised of the importance of this day by various activities like Moolmantar paath, recitation of poems, Shabad Gayan,and related Sakhis. The Gatka presentation videos by the students of Senior classes and folk dance performances by the students were the centre of attraction.
The Kindergarten students also celebrated this Great Day with the same spirit of faith and enjoyed the traditional dance and food. The objective of organising these activities was to make children aware of the Khalsa Sajna Diwas in year 1699 at Shri Anandpur Sahib and it’s cultural values.
