GNF Public School students pledged to save water

A special assembly was conducted in the school in which Gurtej Singh Dhillon, former chairman Improvement Trust Nabha visited the Guru Nanak Foundation Public school and guided the children to be sensitive enough towards the scarcity of water. He laid special emphasis on the depleting level of ground  water in Punjab region. He guided the children with various useful and practical tips to save water, followed by a collective pledge taken by the whole school and the staff members, to save water.

Principal Renu Hanspal was also present over there as a source of inspiration and guidance.

He said its always good thing to start these types of initiatives at any point of time, at least they should also understand the importance of water. GNF Public School students pledged to save water is a good step in this direction.This pledge should be taken in each & every school in India to save Water & Environment.

In the end Gurtej Singh expressed  his gratitude to the Principal for her support and cooperation to conduct this event, followed by a word of thanks to the guests by Kawaljeet Kaur, Coordinator of the school.
