Golden boy Shikhar Rallan won 4 Gold medals in PDB tournament

Executive Committee of Patiala District Badminton Association organized a three day District Badminton Championship in age categories Under-11, 13, 15, 17, 19 (Boys & Girls), Men’s & Women & Veterans. Around 200 players participated in these 3 days Mega Tournament. Association’s members Yashwant Sharma, Vinod Vatrana, A.P. Garg, Vishal Rallan, Samarjit Goel, Dr. Sanjay Bansal, M.M. Sayal, Harinder Singh, Manish Arora made extra ordinary efforts in making this tournament successful.
Prize distribution & closing ceremony was attended by Chief Guest Sourav Jain (MD Vardhman Mahaveer Hospital). Olympian Gurpreet Singh ,Walker Tokyo 2020 also marked his presence in the closing ceremony and was honored by the Executive Committee. District Sports officer, Patiala also encouraged us with his presence.
Dr. Sudhir Varma, Association member, Renowned Cardiologist & sports enthusiast was also present. Deepak Kampani (Retd. AGM SBOP Bank) & Radhey Sham Goel leading businessman also attended the event. Former National Champions of our district, Vijaydeep Singh, Himanshu Sharma & Chanderdeep also graced the occasion.
Shikhar Rallan (Trainee of Gopichand Academy) won 4 Gold Medals in the under-17 Singles, Under-19 Singles, Mens Singles & Mens Double category, in Patiala District Badminton (PDB) Tournament.
