Golden Jubilee Computer centre inaugurated at GNDU

Golden Jubilee Computer centre was inaugurated here today in the premises of Mata Nanaki Girls Hostel of the Guru Nanak Dev University by Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu. Apart from Chander Prabha Gaur, Under Secretary, University Grants Commission, New Delhi, Prof. S. S. Behal, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Hardeep Singh, Dean Student welfare, Prof. Renu Bhardwaj, Director, IQAC, Dr. Shalini Bahel, Warden and other Wardens of other hostels along with Students were present on this occasion.
Prof. Sandhu said that this Computer Lab is a central facility created for the residents of girls hostel under MHRD- RUSSA grant. He said that i5 processors and internet facility are installed for the benefit of the students in this lab. He said that University is committed to providing all modern facility to its students. More similarly facility will be added to other hostels shortly.
Earlier, Dr. Shalini welcomed the chief guest and others. She also detailed the activities of the hostels. Prof. Hardeep Singh presented vote of thanks.
