Govt Bikram College celebrated Republic day with full zeal

Government Bikram College of commerce, Patiala celebrated the Republic Day in the college campus under the guidance of College Principal Prof (Dr) Kusum Lata.
The NSS program officers, teaching and non teaching faculty paid tributes to the Nation and the freedom fighters of India by unfurling and saluting the Tricolour Flag. The college principal addressing the students advised them to respect the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters .
The day also being the fifth day of the seven day (Day and Night )NSS camp was chosen for Lohri celebrations .The College Principal was the chief guest for the day .The mood on the campus was upbeat .The students were totally absorbed in the festive spirit of lohri and lohri was enjoyed with great enthusiasm.
Post lunch various sports activities such as a relay race and the fun filled spoon – lemon race were conducted. The NSS volunteers enjoyed these activities and actively participated in them. Pr Ram Kumar (NSS Program Officer) concluded the day’s camp by thanking everyone present there to make this day fun filled. The others present were NSS program officer Dr Apra, Satinder Kaur, Harsimran Kaur, Gitanjali and other members of teaching and non teaching staff.
