The Annual Sports Day of Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala was held on March 7, 2024 under the able guidance of College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata.The event was graced by Pr. Ram Kumar (Head of the Computer Department) as Chief Guest accompanied by Dr. Vaneeta Rani.

The day’s festivities included a diverse range of games, such as the 100m race, Relay race, Sack race, Badminton, Kho-Kho, Tug of war, and Volleyball etc. These activities not only showcased the sporting prowess of the students but also fostered a spirit of healthy competition.The highlight of the event was the active participation and enjoyment exhibited by the children. Their enthusiasm and energy contributed to the vibrant atmosphere of the sports day, creating lasting memories for all.

To ensure the smooth execution of the event, student officials Bharat Kumar, Kajal, Ganesh, Veerpal Kaur, Harman, Navjot Singh and Rahul Kumar from Government College of Physical Education, Patiala, played a crucial role in conducting and managing various activities. Their expertise and dedication added a professional touch to the proceedings, enhancing the overall experience for participants and spectators. Dr.Reetu Kapoor expertly handled the announcements, along with Dr.Rajni Bala and Dr.Tarandeep Kaur contributing to the overall success of the sports day.

The Annual Sports Day at Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala, was a triumph of sportsmanship, teamwork, and joy. The collaborative efforts of college authorities, student officials, and participants contributed to making this event a memorable Dr.Paramjit Kaur, Incharge of Sports, along with the dynamic coordination of Dr.Jyoti and Dr.Jaspreet Kaur, members of the sports committee and Harpal Singh (Game Boy) played a pivotal role in the meticulous planning and execution of the day’s activities. All the Members of Teaching and Non-Teaching staff were present at the occasion.
