Govt Medical College Patiala gets Vice Principal after six months

Dr Parmod Kumar, Professor and Head of the Department of Anesthesia of Rajindra Hospital has been appointed as Vice Principal of Government Medical College Patiala by an order issued by Sh. D.K. Tiwari (IAS) Principal Secretary Medical Education and Research Punjab last evening against the vacant post after voluntary retirement by Dr Kanchan Saini Bhardwaj last year.
Dr Pramod Kumar took over the charge today in the presence of college Principal Dr Harjinder Singh and office bearers of Punjab State Medical and Dental Teachers Association including President Dr DS Bhullar, Dr Vijay Kumar and Dr Harjit Chawla along with faculty members of Anesthesia Department.
