Punjab Government has nominated three members from different fields for the syndicate body of Punjabi University.
Chancellor of the university and Governor of Punjab VP Badnore, cleared the file, forwarded by the Chief Minister with his recommendation.
The members include Rajesh Sharma, working journalist with Hind Samachar Group, Harinderpal Singh Mann (Harry Mann) who contested from Sanour as Congress nominee and former Information Commissioner and Major AP Singh, Nabha (retd.) for one year. The syndicate body is chaired by Punjabi University Vice-Chancellor Professor BS Ghuman. The syndicate is a supreme body of the University.
