GRP ASI suspended for taking bribe

A video of Government Railway Police (GRP) ASI Sajjan Singh posted as I/C Assault post Mohali Railway Station demanding and accepting Rs 1400 as bribe from a passenger got viral. He was immediately suspended and departmental action has been initiated against him.
ADGP Government Railway Police Shashi Prabha Dwivedi IPS said corruption in department would not be tolerated and anyone indulging in such practices would be delt strongly.
