Gujarat Gas hired 4 GNDU students

Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Directorate of Placement & Career Enhancement, GNDU, Amritsar organized Campus Placement drive by Gujarat Gas company for MBA, B.Tech. Mechanical Engg. and B.Tech. Civil Engg. students of GNDU, Amritsar.
A team of 5 members headed by Satyen Trivedi visited GNDU for the recruitment process. Students from University Business School, Civil Engg. and Mechanical Engg. Departments participated in the recruitment drive and finally 2 MBA students and 2 B.Tech. Mechanical students (Total 4) were selected by the company. The MBA students have been offered a package of Rs. 8.00 Lakhs per annum and B.Tech. students have been offered Rs. 6.00 Lakhs per annum.
Gujarat Gas Limited (GGL) is India’s largest City Gas Distribution (CGD) Company in terms of sales volume operating in 44 districts in 6 states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab & Madhya Pradesh and 1 Union territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli. The Company operates 808 CNG stations and has connected more than 21.15 lakh households, over 15,200 commercial customers and more than 4,390 industrial customers.
Under the leadership of Vice Chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Directorate of Placement & Career Enhancement is regularly organizing placement drives. Vice Chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu congratulated the students and faculty members for selection of the students in Gujarat Gas. Dean Academic Affairs Dr. Palwinder Singh and Registrar Dr. K.S. Kahlon also congratulated the students for this great success. Dr. Amit Chopra, Director said that students of GNDU are in great demand due to good academic and research environment and excellent infrastructural facilities. He further added that in this academic year, companies from IT, Consulting, Hospitality, Planning, Logistics, Engineering, Consumer Goods and Ed-Tech sectors hired a large number of students from the faculties of Engineering, Economics & Business, Physical Planning & Architecture, Sports Medicine & Physiotherapy, Sciences, Life Sciences and Physical Education.
