Keeping in view the lockdown in preventing the spread of deadly Corona virus worldwide Guru Nanak Foundation Public School, Patiala has started online classes for all its students in order to make the best use of time while at home
Following the instructions given by the SSO,all the students from Nursery to class 8 were promoted on the basis of their class performances and the result was sent through the school app.
E-classes had already started for 10th and 12th classes before the lockdown keeping the health and safety of the children on priority .
Children are being taught through the videos of the classroom lectures specially made by the teachers during this lockdown period,and through the Zoom App.,followed by the assignments that are sent to the children through the school app.
Principal Renu Hanspal told that the school and the Management is regularly monitoring the online teaching by teachers and the interaction of the children with them and giving full and unconditional support so that studies of the children are not affected.
She also informed that the parents especially of the Junior Wing are actively interacting with the teachers using various virtual technologies and helping the children in completing their assignments.
Moreover students are also being guided to download the pdf of the NCERT books available on the CBSE website.and also given the free access of the School smart class e-content from home till the school reopens.
Besides this the school is regularly guiding and educating its students and the parents as well as how to remain safe against this deadly virus and sharing the useful tips and methods to be followed from time to time through the school app.
