Guru Nanak Foundation School organizes a painting exhibition on teachings of Guru Nanak

In commemoration with the 550th birth anniversary of SHRI GURU NANAK DEV JI, Guru Nanak Foundation Public School Patiala organised an EXHIBITION-on the life and teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji, in the school premises from 31st August 2019 to 5 September, 2019. The Exhibition is open to one and all and will remain open till 5th Sept, 2019 for Parents and children of all the schools of the city.
The exhibition comprised of various sections showing the CHAAR UDAASIS the world famous tours of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji to preach the lessons of truth and humanity to all, SAKHIS explaining the life of GURU SAHIB, explanations of GURU SAHIB ‘S GURBANI and many more. The students with the help of their teachers enthusiastically explained various aspects of the teachings of GURU SAHIB that they had shown through their art on beautifully decorated colourful charts.The whole atmosphere was full of pious feelings with the soothing sounds of HOLY GURBANI, being played at the background.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Balkar Singh, Director Vishav Punjabi Center Society, Punjabi University, Patiala, Didar Singh Basan, Dr.Ravi Bhushan,Jasbir Kaur, Principal Gurmat college Patiala, Parminder Singh ,Principal Dhudial Khalsa School, Patiala, Dr.S.P.Singh, M.P Kaushal , Er. Jatinderpal Singh, and Dolly Garg – Sarpanch of village Sular, were among the galaxy of the learned elites of the society who attended the event.
Principal Renu Hanspal welcomed the chief guest and other dignitaries present over there.
While addressing the gathering Dr Balkar Singh shared the teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and laid stress on the fact that everyone of us should try to inculcate in us the values preached by Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji . The chief Guest was hounerd by Partap Singh , Director of Guru Nanak Foundation ,New Delhi , Dr S. P. Singh also shared his views in this event and was honoured by Partap Singh .
To conclude the ceremony Sandeep the vice coordinator of the school thanked all the guests who made the event great success.
