Haryana CM launched ‘e-Fasal Kshatipoorti portal for farmers

Taking yet another step towards ascertaining that Farmers’ welfare is the topmost priority of the Manohar Lal-led State government, a new portal ‘e-Fasal Kshatipoorti portal was launched today by the Chief Minister, Manohar Lal.

While addressing a press conference here today, the Chief Minister said that with the launch of this portal a historic step has been taken towards ensuring transparency in the system of application, verification and compensation for crop loss. Besides this, this portal would also replace the age-old manual compensation system as now compensation would also be given online.

The Chief Minister said that the farmers who have not registered under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana would get the benefit given under the portal ‘e-Fasal Kshatipoorti.

“With IT reforms, we have worked towards ‘Ease of Living’ for every section of the society,” said Manohar Lal.

He said that after the unprecedented success of the ‘Meri Fasal-Mera Byora’ portal, the ‘e-Fasal Kshatipoorti portal has been launched today.

The Chief Minister said that through this portal, the compensation amount will be deposited directly into the verified account of the farmer provided on ‘Meri Fasal-Mera Byora’.

Now the farmers have to just register themselves on ‘Meri Fasal-Mera Byora’ portal only, said Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister further informed that the farmer’s Khasra number should not be registered under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.

The Farmers can check their application status from time to time on this portal. For registration, sharing of registered mobile number, the Parivar Pehchan Patra ID, ‘Meri Fasal-Mera Byora’ registration number will be mandatory, said the Chief Minister.

Haryana CM launched ‘e-Fasal Kshatipoorti portal for farmers. The Chief Minister said that the compensation will be given for crop loss due to fire, flood, hailstorm, drought, cold wave, earthquake, landslide, cloudburst, water-logging, heavy rain, insect attack and dust storm.

5 slabs were made for crop loss compensation

The Chief Minister said that the crop compensation would be given in 5 slabs including 0 to 24 per cent, 25 to 32 percent, 33 to 49 percent, 50 to 74 percent, and 75 to 100 percent.

The Chief Minister further informed that the concerned Patwari, Kanungo and Tehsildar will do the login from the respective login form from their registered mobile number.

They will be able to view the application submitted by the farmer for crop loss. After this, they will fill the crop loss percentage and Khasra number photo and will also submit their feedback.

Besides this, the SDM would also log in with their login form and view the mismatched data submitted by Patwari, Kanungo and Tehsildar. They would also do the re-verification of complaints lodged by farmers.

For crop compensation, DC needs to verify the 4 percent of the registered area

The Chief Minister said that for crop compensation, 4 percent of the registered area is required to be verified by the Deputy Commissioner. The Deputy Commissioner will send the amount for the approval of the Commissioner. The Commissioner will send the amount for approval of the nodal officer.

The Chief Minister said that the nodal officers will take the approval of the state government for the amount sent by the respective districts and after approval, the amount will be directly deposited in the verified account of the farmer.

Umashankar, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, and Director General, Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Dr. Amit Agrawal, Chief Administrator, Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran, Panchkula, Ajit Balaji Joshi and Director General Agriculture, Hardeep Singh also remained present on this occasion.
