Haryana’s skilled youth to get International Employment opportunities under ‘Go Global’ Mission- CM

Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini said that there is no shortage of skilled youth in the state. He said that the government’s endeavour is to ensure that these youth travel abroad through legal and secure channels and avail maximum opportunities at the international level. To achieve this, the state government will ensure a transparent and reliable recruitment process through the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam.

The Chief Minister said that Haryana Government’s ‘Go Global’ approach will open new avenues for the youth in the international job market and accelerate the state’s economic progress. He also urged all stakeholders to work in coordination to strictly curb illegal activities such as the “donkey route”.

Nayab Singh Saini was presiding over a meeting organised today at Haryana Niwas, Chandigarh, by the Department of Foreign Cooperation, Government of Haryana. The objective of the meeting was to promote overseas employment opportunities for the youth of the state and formulate strategies to make them globally competitive.

The discussions in the meeting laid special emphasis on establishing coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, and various overseas placement agencies. Around 20 recruiting agencies participated in the meeting.

Advisor to Chief Minister in the Department of Foreign Cooperation,  Pawan Chaudhary, highlighted the department’s achievements, stating that several effective initiatives have already been taken to send youth abroad. These initiatives aim to provide international employment opportunities to the youth in a safe and transparent manner. He further informed that, under this initiative, not only will job opportunities be made available, but special programmes will also be launched to equip youth with necessary skills, language training, and preparation in accordance with international standards.

Notably, the state government, through the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam, has released 5,700 vacancies online for which youth from Haryana can apply as per their qualifications. Through these vacancies, arrangements have been made to send candidates to Mauritius, Israel, Russia, Norway, Germany, Dubai, and other countries in a transparent manner and without any financial burden on them.

Industries and Commerce Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, Chief Secretary,   Anurag Rastogi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister,  Arun Gupta, Secretaries, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India,  A.K. Chatterjee, Dr. Neena Malhotra and other senior officers were present during the meeting.
