Has Punjab police cracked Mohali blast case? DGP to clear the air today as the DGP Punjab police is going to hold a press conference at 4:00 pm today, at Punjab police headquarters.
On May, 9,2022 a minor explosion was reported at the Punjab Police Intelligence Head quarters in sector 77, SAS Nagar at around 7:45 PM. As per Punjab police officials, no damage had been reported in that explosion.
On May 10,2022 taking swift cognizance of an explosion occurred at the headquarters of Punjab Police Intelligence Wing at Mohali, on May 9, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann directed the DGP to immediately probe into the entire incident thoroughly so as to get bottom of the case.
Bhagwant Mann categorically had said that nobody would be allowed to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the state adding that few inimical forces are constantly trying to foment trouble across the state, which will never succeed in their nefarious designs.
On May, 10,2022 “the launcher used in the attack has been recovered by the police and all leads developed in the case are being pursued meticulously” said Punjab Police spokesperson.
After meeting the officers, DGP Bhawra has said “We have leads and we will soon solve this case”, adding that “it is a challenge and we are making our best efforts to solve this case”.
