Hat trick for Punjab’s Under-23 Cricket Team, wins three National trophies for the first time

In the recently concluded Under-23 Multi-Day CK Naidu Cricket Trophy, the Punjab boys’ cricket team not only secured the victory but also won the One-Day Cricket Trophy organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and defeated the Rest of India’s Under-23 cricket team to claim the Irani Trophy.

Sharing this information, Patiala Cricket Hub’s coach, Kamal Sandhu, mentioned that Punjab is once again returning to the golden era of legendary spin bowlers like Bishan Singh Bedi and Harbhajan Singh. He stated that the talented spinner of the cricket hub, Harjus Tandon, not only took 30 wickets in eight matches in the multi-day tournament while playing for Punjab but also scored over 200 runs. Harjus also took 10 wickets while playing for Punjab in a cricket trophy organized by the BCCI.

Meanwhile, another player from the cricket hub, Aryaman Singh, took 34 wickets in 10 matches in the CK Naidu Trophy and 19 wickets in one-day matches while playing for Punjab.

Coach Kamal Sandhu expressed his happiness, stating that this achievement is the result of the children’s relentless hard work. He praised the leadership of Punjab Cricket Association Secretary, Dil Sher Khanna, and the Punjab Cricket Association, under whose able guidance Punjab has reached this milestone. He also mentioned the role of Punjab Cricket Team’s coach, V. R. V. Singh, stating that it is due to his expert leadership that Punjab’s Under-23 cricket team was able to win three BCCI trophies for the first time.
