HC Justice Manjari Nehru Kaul visited Branla District Court, Jail

Today on 21.10.2019, Justice Manjari Nehru Kaul, Judge of High Court of Punjab & Haryana, Chandigarh and Administrative Judge of District Barnala visited District Courts, Barnala. Virinder Aggarwal, Ld. District & Sessions Judge, Arun Gupta, Ld. Addl. District & Sessions Judge-I, Lalit Kumar Singla, Ld. District Judge, Family Court, Barjinder Pal Singh, Ld. Addl. District & Sessions Judge-II, Amrinder Pal Singh, Ld. Civil Judge (Sr.Div.), Vineet Narang, Ld. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rupinder Singh, Ld. CJM-cum-Secretary, DLSA, Gurbir Singh, Ld. Addl. Civil Judge (Sr.Div.), Rajinder Singh Nagpal, Ld. Civil Judge (Jr.Div.), Kulwinder Kaur, Ld. Civil Judge (Jr.Div) and Babaljeet Kaur, Ld. Civil Judge (Jr.Div.) were also present.

Besides this, Administrative Judge also visited District Jail, Barnala accompanied by Virinder Aggarwal, Ld. District & Sessions Judge and Rupinder Singh, Ld. Secretary, DLSA, Barnala. During Jail visit, Judge met with each and every under trial/prisoner and heard their problems which they are facing. They also checked food, water, cleanliness of jail barracks and other facilities which are being provided to them. Justice Manjari Nehru Kaul, suggested all the persons in Jail to make efforts to make their lives better by learning any skillful work so that they should live their life peacefully with dignity after their release. Hon’ble Judge also suggested for initiating any skill development programme in Jail for jail inmates.

In the end, Justice Manjari Nehru Kaul, Judge of High Court of Punjab & Haryana, Chandigarh also visited District Bar, Barnala. Gurwinder Singh, President District Bar, Paramjeet Singh Masouen, Vice President along with members of Bar welcomed the Judge. The Judge addressed the Bar Members.
