Health checkup camp organised at Police DAV Public School Patiala

“A HEALTHY MIND RESIDES IN A HEALTHY BODY.” The tough days of COVID 19 has taught us the value of health. The school is also thoughtful about the well being of its students.
So as to create awareness amongst children, the government has come up with an initiative to conduct health checkups and find out the children suffering from Anaemia. So, a team of health officials headed by Chetna Sharma from Dispensary, village Kalyan Patiala visited the Police DAV Public School. Anaemia affects a child physically and mentally. The child is not able to cope up in sports and other activities. Early detection can cure everything.
The school organised a health check up camp for children from Nursery to 12 where they were tested and guided by government doctors to remain healthy and happy. Students were also told about the foods which are rich in Iron and can cure Anaemia.
On this occasion the school Principal Mohit Chug thanked the health officials for their initiative and make the children disease free. He appreciated their efforts by handing over the Certificates. He further motivated the students to adopt healthy eating habits.
The check up camp was a great success.
