Health department issues advisory for cleaning of mobile phone in Covid 19 pandemic

Punjab govt health department has issues an advisory about the usage, cleaning, safety rules to be followed, due to covid 19 pandemic.
As per the advisory, the virus survived on surfaces for a varied period of time, and was easily inactivated by chemical disinfectants.
Keeping this in mind the state Health Department has decided to come up with a detailed advisory on the cleaning and maintenance of mobile phones, which directly comes in contact with the face or mouth of the user repeatedly, during its usage, and can be a potential source to spread the infection even if hands are properly washed and clean.
The state Health Department has also issued a step-wise procedure to be followed while cleaning the surfaces of mobiles phones
