How can an inmate on death sentence able to meet Sukhbir Badal in jail-Ravneet Bittu

Congress member parliament from Ludhiana Ravneet Singh Bittu has raised serious question over the functioning of Patiala Central jail authorities.
Bittu reacting on the meeting of Shiromani Akali Dal party president Sukhbir Singh Badal with Balwant Singh Rajoana in the Patiala Central Jail on March 1,2022.
Bittu said “how is it possible that a militant, who had killed a chief minister (Beant Singh), is supposed to be in shackles, allowed him to roam freely in the jail? Why he came to the jail superintendent office and able to meet a Z Plus protected Sukhbir Singh Badal. It’s a serious breach of jail manual.”
Bittu further added that “I’ll take up this serious issue with the Election Commission of India. I’ll request them to investigate the whole matter thoroughly. Why they (Sukhbir Singh Badal and Balwant Singh Rajoana) met and what transpired between them is a point of investigation. “
How can an inmate on death sentence able to meet Sukhbir Badal in jail-Ravneet Bittu. On March 1, 2022, Shiromani akali dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal along with his wife Harsimrat Kaur Badal had gone to Patiala Central jail to greet Bikram Singh Majithia, on his birthday.
As per Patiala Central jail superintendent Shivraj Singh, while Sukhbir Singh Badal was in the jail to greet Bikram Singh Majithia on his birthday, Balwant Singh Rajoana reached office for some work and came face to face with Sukhbir Singh Badal.”
Balwant Singh Rajoana, one of the men convicted for the assassination of former Punjab CM Beant Singh, was a grandfather of Ravneet Singh Bittu. Rajoana is currently undergoing a death sentence and is lodged at Patiala Central Jail.
Shiromani akali dal and shiromani gurudwara prabandhak committee (SGPC) is providing legal help to Balwant Singh Rajoana, to fight his legal battle against his death sentence.
