If government offers us Khalistan, we will accept it-Giani Harpreet Singh

On the 36 anniversary of Operation Blue Star, Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh said that if the government offers to give us Khalistan, we will happily accept it. He was responding to the queries raised the press reporters, after the Akhand Path Bhog, in Amritsar. He also said every Sikh wants Khalistan.
Giani Harpreet Singh was interacting with media persons after ardas samagam to pay homage to those martyred during the Operation Blue Star at Sri Akal Takht Sahib, said that “if the Government of India offers us Khalistan what else do we need ? We will accept it as every Sikh wants Khalistan”
Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) President Gobind Singh Longowal, who was also sitting along with Giani Harpreet Singh, in the press briefing, also endorsed this demand and said that if Government offers Khalistan, we will accept it.
Giani Harpreet Singh said that “Sikhs never forget this June 6, incident, that was happened in 1984, as the central government of that time”
He also suggested SGPC President Gobind Singh Longowal to make a panel of Sikh intellectuals, literary persons to make an authentic document in record the June,1984 incident . He said that still many of the eye witnesses are alive today, so they must be interviewed for this incident . That document should be translated in all the languages and must be circulated, worldwide.
Later, Daljit Singh Cheema, spokesperson of Shiromani Akali Dal said “ the media should not present Giani Harpreet Singh interaction with media, in a wrong way ”
