IIT Ropar Technology Business Incubator Foundation signs MoU with IET Bhaddal Technical Campus

In a significant step towards strengthening the startup and innovation ecosystem, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the IIT Ropar Technology Business Incubator Foundation (TBIF) and IET Bhaddal Technical Campus, Rupnagar.

The objective of this MoU is to establish collaboration between the two institutions to jointly strengthen the startup ecosystem, support early-stage enterprises and promote entrepreneurship through shared incubation, joint financial assistance and shared resources.

On this occasion, Dr. S. S. Bindra, Registrar-cum-Director of the campus, expressed his happiness and stated that this MoU will open new avenues for students, provide a fresh direction to their academic growth and enable them to transform their ideas into practical ventures. He appreciated the efforts of Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Group Director (Academics), Dr. Preet Kanwal Kaur, Principal – Pharmacy and Dr. Taranjit Kaur, Dean – Research, whose dedicated efforts led to the successful signing of this MoU.

Sharing detailed information about the MoU, Dr. Taranjit Kaur, Dean – Research, IET Bhaddal Technical Campus, informed that the agreement was signed by Dr. Shrey Pathak, Faculty In-charge-cum-Director, IIT Ropar TBIF and Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Group Director (Academics), IET Bhaddal Technical Campus.

Under this MoU, both institutions will jointly support new startups by providing mentorship, technical assistance, training and essential facilities required to start and grow businesses.

As part of this collaboration, workshops, seminars, conferences, boot camps, training sessions, hackathons and networking programs will also be organized. These initiatives will offer students opportunities to connect with industry experts and understand emerging opportunities, thereby fostering interest in self-employment and innovation among students. On this occasion, Ritika Mahajan, Manager – IIT Ropar TBIF, was also present.
