IMA Patiala welcomes Dr Balbir Singh, the new health minister with open arms

Indian medical Association Patiala, celebrated homecoming of Dr. Balbir Singh after taking Oath as the Health, Family welfare and Medical education minister of the State of Punjab.
Senior members of Indian medical Association PATIALA were present at his home before he arrived from Raj Bhawan Chandigarh. They greeted him with flowers and expressed immense joy and pride ,That one of their senior patrons ,ex-president IMA Patiaĺa and a very knowledgeable eye Surgeon is now the Health ,Family welfare and Medical Education minister
Dr Nidhi Bansal secretary IMA Patiala and Joint secretary Women Doctors Wing (WDW) IMA Punjab, told media that doctors felt relieved that the person with great credibility and technical knowhow , who has worked both in government sector and private sector medical institutions and therefore very capable of handling all challenges being faced by both medical professionals and patients at large is now the chief of medical services in Punjab
Dr Bhagwant Singh, President IMA PUNJAB 2023, congratulated Dr Balbir Singh along with senior members of IMA Patiaĺa. He extended best wishes and promised full support on behalf of medical fraternity of Punjab.
Dr Balbir Singh accepted wishes of fellow doctors with all humility and reiterated his commitment to work for betterment of medical education, emergency management and to reinstate the glory of medical professionals.
Doctors of IMA who were present including Dr Dalbir Kaur (Civil Surgeon Patiaĺa), Dr JPS Sodhi,Dr Ajata Shatru, Dr Harsimran Tuli, Dr Vikas and Mohit Bansal ,said that this is a great step.
IMA Patiala welcomes Dr Balbir Singh, the new health minister with open arms. Dr Chandermohini, President IMA Patiaĺa said that this as an opportunity towards betterment of medical infrastructure and facilities in Punjab.
