Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Government Mohindra College, Patiala, under the guidance of the Principal Amarjit Singh, took a significant step towards sustainable waste management with the inauguration of Aerobins in the girls’ hostel. Dr. Reena Chadha, General Manager of the Indian Pollution Control Association, Delhi, graced the occasion as the presiding dignitary.

Aerobins, known for their efficient composting capabilities, will aid in managing solid waste effectively within the college premises. The initiative aligns with the institution’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices.

Following the inauguration, Dr. Reena Chadha conducted an insightful workshop on Solid Waste Management at the Sabha Bhawan of the college. Her expertise and guidance provided valuable insights into tackling waste management challenges effectively.

In recognition of Government Mohindra College Patiala’s dedication to environmental conservation, the Municipal Corporation awarded the college with a certificate for maintaining a Single-use plastic-free campus. This acknowledgment underscores the institution’s proactive efforts towards creating a cleaner and greener environment.
