The 19th Edition of PharmaTech Expo 2025 & LabTech Expo 2025, organized by PharmaTechnologyIndex.com Pvt. Ltd and supported HDMA (Himachal Drug Manufacturers Association) commenced today at Parade Ground, Sector 17, Chandigarh. This 3 days premier industry event brings together over 300 leading exhibitors from across the country, presenting cutting-edge pharmaceutical machinery, laboratory technologies, and processing solutions under one roof.
The Expo was inaugurated today by the Honorable Industries Minister, Government of Himachal Pradesh Harshwardhan Chauhan, in the presence of a distinguished gathering of industrialists, regulatory authorities, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Honorable Minister highlighted the efforts of the Himachal Pradesh State government in promoting industrial development through initiatives like the Single Window Clearance System. He emphasized that “this streamlined approach fosters an investor-friendly environment, enabling business ideas to flourish and transform into reality”.
The Minister further shared that, “in an era where the pharmaceutical and pharma machinery industries are growing at an unprecedented pace, platforms like PharmaTech Expo are vital. They enable knowledge exchange, showcase innovation, and ensure that Indian industry stakeholders maintain a competitive edge on the global stage”
Sharing more information about the Expo Ramesh Shah, Chairman, PharmaTech Expo said that “this year marks the Seventh edition of the event in Chandigarh, and it has witnessed substantial growth, with a 140% increase in exhibition area and a 60% rise in the number of participating companies. With over 15,000 square meters of exhibition space and more than 6,000 attendees expected over the three-day event, PharmaTech Expo 2025 is set to be the largest and most impactful edition yet”.
Northern India-comprising states such as Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Jammu & Kashmir—continues to be recognized as a vital pharmaceutical hub of the nation. The region not only contributes significantly to the country’s raw material and formulation output but also supports the growth of ancillary sectors like processing machinery, equipment manufacturing, and scientific instrumentation.
The Expo is further enriched by a series of high-level seminars and discussions. On an inaugural day, a panel discussion on “Revised Schedule M – Gap Analysis” as conducted with the support of CDSCO, State FDCA, and HDMA. On April 11, a seminar titled “SAMATA – Balancing Act: Quality, Energy, and Innovation in Pharma” is being organized by ISHRAE and ASHRAE, followed by another on “China Plus One (C+1): Possibilities and Challenges in Pharmaceutical & Medical Devices Sector,” curated by associate organizations.
