evolving job market, the HEIS department of Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala, organized an insightful extension lecture for its BBA and BCA students under the able guidance of the college Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata. The founder and CEO of Executive Shiksha, Radhika Ahuja, was the resource person for the session.
The lecture began with the introduction of the transformative role of AI across industries. She explained how automation, machine learning, and data analytics are not only revolutionizing business processes but also creating entirely new career pathways. She highlighted the significance of aligning technical skills with emerging trends, while also stressing the importance of soft skills like adaptability, problem-solving, and teamwork, which will be crucial in the AI-driven future.
During the Interactive Lecture, students actively participated and asked various insightful questions about how AI is reshaping various fields and job roles. The Principal of the college stated that the rapid evolution of AI presents both challenges and opportunities. The role of AI in transforming industries is undeniable, and it is essential that our students understand its impact early in their academic journey. Dr.Reetu Kapoor, Member Secretary of the HEIS Department, emphasized the importance of bridging academic knowledge with industrial trends.

Prof. Swati Gupta. On this occasion Asstt. Prof.Taranjit Kaur, Asstt. Prof.Ramanpreet Kaur, Dr.Sapna Dhiman, Dr.Gurpreet Kaur and Asstt. Prof. Harmanpreet Kaur, were also present.
