Investure Ceremony at Budha Dal Public School Patiala

The investiture ceremony of Budha Dal Public School, Patiala for the academic session 2018-19 was held on Friday, 27 April 2018in the main assembly ground. The ceremony was conducted with high degree of earnestness & passion.
The event was presided over by the Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Amrit Aujla alongwith the senior teachers.
The investiture ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. Donning the mantle of accountability they pledged to bestow their duties to the best of their abilities.
The ceremony was held with lot of zeal & zest. It commenced with the invoking the blessings of the Almighty with the Shabad recitation. The student council comprising of 89 members were adorned with sashes & badges.
Sehaj Singh Mundi was bestowed as the School Captain, Shreyas Sharma as the Head Boy & Rashmeen Kaur as the Head Girl. The House Captain, Sports Captain, Discipline Incharges and all the Prefects were the other members of the student council. The council took pledge to hold the school motto of Serve, Strive, Conquer in high esteem.
The Principal, Dr. Amrit Aujla congratulated them and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. She exhorted them to uphold the values. She reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school & peers which should be carried out with utmost sincerity.The function concluded with the National Anthem.
