Iqbal Singh Lalpura attends meeting of BJP Central Parliamentary Board

Iqbal Singh Lalpura, a member of the Central Parliamentary Board and Election Committee and chairman of the National Commission for Minorities, attended the meeting of the central election committee, the largest decision-making central election committee of the country’s ruling party BJP.
The meeting was held in New Delhi under the leadership of Central Election Committee Chairman JP Nadda . The meeting was also attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting was convened in view of the Gujarat elections and other internal issues.
During the meeting, Lalpura also shared his views regarding party candidates.The selection committee comprises 15 members including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, former Karnataka CM BS Yeddyurappa, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister Bhupender Yadav, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and eminent leaders and office bearers from different regions of India.
It may be noted that Iqbal Singh Lalpura was elected as a member of the Central Election Committee and the Central Parliamentary Board in the month of August.
