St. Xavier’s International School, Patiala wore a festive look on ‘Janmashtami’ with the students in colourful attires of Radha and Krishna. Jasleen Kaur of Class XI Commerce delivered a speech highlighting the importance of Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna. Tiny tots of Nursery, Prep I and Prep II performed on ‘ Maiya Yashoda’ which was applauded and appreciated by everyone.
Kanishka of Class Prep II delivered a speech on Janmashtami. Another soul touching performance was presented by the students of V Roses on the song ‘Jab Kanahiya ki Murli’. The principal of the school Mrs. Manjeet Waraich enlightened the students with the origin of Janmashtami. The celebration was thoroughly enjoyed by the students and also acquainted them with the rich culture and heritage of our country.
