JGND PSOU launches Discussion Forum to promote Research

Prof. Karamjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor, Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala (JGNDPSOU) has initiated Discussion Forum to promote excellence and innovation in research. “JGNDPSOU Discussion Forum is designed to explore new avenues of research. It will provide a platform to intellectuals, scholars and faculty to share new ideas. An output-oriented model of research largely impacts policy issues and improves education system of a nation,” said Prof. Karamjeet Singh.
He added, “Intellectuals, scholars and faculty from national and international universities would be reflecting on diverse research areas in upcoming sessions of Discussion Forum at JGND PSOU, Patiala. The university is all set to begin the PhD program, as per UGC guidelines, in the coming session.”
Prof.Gurdip Singh Batra, Dean Academics Affairs, said, “Quality and high standard research is the hallmark of academia.The discussions of the forum would provide faculty an opportunity to disseminate new research ideas.”
