JGND Punjab State Open University adopts DigiLocker Initiative

Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University (JGND PSOU), Patiala has adopted DigiLocker, a flagship initiative of Ministry of Electronics & IT (Meity), under Digital Programme. The University has published results of four admission cycles (2021-2023).
Prof. Karamjeet Singh, Vice Chancellor, JGND PSOU eulogised the efforts of Examination Branch for providing University students access to digital documents. He said, “The results of Postgraduate Programmes, Undergraduate Programmes and Certificate courses for sessions July 2021, January 2022, July 2022 and January 2023 can now be accessed on DigiLocker.”
Under the Indian Information Technology Act 2000, digital documents are legally valid and are treated at par with original physical documents. DigiLocker a secure document gateway, fetches documents in real-time directly.
