Jouramajra appeals to farmers to opt for food processing, DSR, and sugar can to raise their income

Information and Public Relations and Horticulture Minister Chetan Singh Jouramajra appealed to farmers to opt for food processing, DSR, and sugar can to raise their income. He was present at the block-level farmer training camp has been organized by the Department of Agriculture Patiala at Aggarwal Dharmsala Samana, which was a live telecast shared among district farmers via youtube and a link. MLA Shutrana Kuwlant Singh and SDM Charanjit Singh were also present at the camp.
Dr Gurnam Singh Chief agriculture officer delivered a lecture through PPT about different schemes of the department. Dr Satish Kumar block agriculture officer Samana arranged the whole camp and live telecast of the camp for the department and farmers.
A team of scientists from the Farmer advisory centre Dr Gurpreet singh singh and Dr Parminder Singh also gave a technical lecture on their field. Agriculture Department team Dr Gurlrveen Garcha (Stage Secretary), Dr Gaurav Arora ADO cane development, Dr Amandeep Kaur ADO soil, Dr Aman Sandhu ADO enforcement and Dr Gurmail Singh ADO seeds also gave a Powerpoint presentation about kharif season crops. Different departments and self-help group presented their stalls for 2500 farmers. More than 1000 farmers have seen this camp through the youtube link
