KBC season 15 gets its maiden Crorepati; 21 years old from Punjab is the winner

Kaun Banega Crorepati season 15 got its first crorepati Jaskaran Singh a 21-year-old boy who hails from Punjab.
Jaskaran Singh belongs to Khalra, popularly known for human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra touches the India-Pakistan border in Tarn Taran district of Punjab.
This season first crorepati Jaskaran Singh played very well and has created history as he successfully answered the Rs 1 crore question by using his double dip lifeline. He won the amount with his one life line remains unused. He quit the Rs 7 crore question which is mythological question.
His grandfather is a street vendor who sells “Cholle Bhatura” and his father works as a caterer.
While interacting with the KBC host Amitabh bachhan, Jaskaran said “as I mentioned, I will use this prize money for my family as I want to give them all the happiness. I also want to get better facilities when it comes to my education, as I want to crack the civil service examination and become a public servant.” Singh, who is preparing for the civil services, had been attempting to make it to the show for the last four years and finally today he created history.
The interesting part of this episode was when Amitabh Bachhan spoke with Jaskaran, with his family and friends in chaste Punjabi language.
